Warehouse Worker

McDougall Auctioneers Ltd. is a family owned and operated Auction Business that has been in operation for over 30 years.  We are growing and are looking for an energetic person to become our Warehouse Worker.

FT Position to start ASAP:
-    Looking for a mature, friendly, and organized person available immediately to fill the position of Warehouse Worker
-    Hours will be 8:00 a.m.  5:00 p.m. Monday, Wednesday-Friday with a 1 hour lunch and Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m.  7:00 p.m.; overtime may be required as needed

Job Description & Responsibilities:
-    Warehouse manual labour required
-    Prepare items for shipment to various locations
-    Assist with loading and unloading of freight
-    Assist with keeping warehouse clean
-    Assist with listing and lotting items for online auctions and live auction sales
-    Assist customers with locating items purchased and with loading items onto customer vehicles
-    Other duties as required

Requirements:
-    Candidates with experience as a Warehouse Worker will be given preference
-    Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate these
-    Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
-    Attention to detail
-    Ability to cope with pressure and deadlines
-    Self-motivated with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-    Flexible to adapt to ever changing situations that arise
-    Valid drivers licence
-    Experience with driving forklifts and skidsteers
-    Valid provincially certified forklift ticket for SK desireable, but not necessary
-    Computer skills an asset   ability to learn Auction Program, Use of Microsoft Word/Excel
