Providing Respite(a break)to families/guardians who have a individual with an intellectual disability (varying disabilities).
This may mean a few hours at a time, a day or a few days, or a weekend.
Sometimes families may want a person to do fun activities with their child, like recreational activities or crafts, etc.
Requirements:
Experience providing care to people with disabilities an asset but not mandatory.
Must be a people person, empathetic and reliable.Must have a current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
