Description

Responsibilities:

Prepare quotations for commercial and institutional customers, sourcing material and analyzing the bill of material requirements in the context of achieving the goals and enhancing profitability.
Ensure that bids are prepared in a professional manner and submitted within the mandated time frame
Placing purchase orders with vendors and managing the customer delivery timelines.
Maintain and strengthen supplier and customer relationships
Follow up on submitted bids to establish a record of success, and a database of information to assist with future bids
Assist District branches with project enquiries, large tenders

Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, able to take direction and express their opinion in a group setting
Customer-service oriented
Excellent product knowledge and inside sales experience, good negotiating skills
Must have good organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages IE Excel
AS/400 system an asset
Project management would be an asset
