AMECs Mining & Metals Business Unit currently has an exciting opportunity available for an Electrical Engineer, Intermediate in our Saskatoon office on a 6 month contract. The role requires an individual to be located within a reasonable commute of Saskatoon. Reporting to the Manager, Electrical/Instrumentation and working alongside other team members locally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide support for a wide variety of project and departmental functions.  If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast pace environment, this opportunity is for you.

Responsibilities
Providing electrical discipline support on medium to large scale industrial projects
Performing power system engineering design on light to heavy industrial projects
Reviewing project documents for scope, presentation and technical accuracy
Providing field support to on-site personnel and the construction management team
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in light to heavy industry
Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering
Ability to register as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) in the province of Saskatchewan
Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment
Ability to work in both design office and operating plant environments
