The FCL Propane Plant in Meadow Lake invites applications for the position of Propane Service Technician.

Located in Meadow Lake and reporting to the Propane Branch Supervisor, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for scheduling and carrying out service installation orders from Retail Co-ops, retail members, and FCL direct accounts, along with promoting and delivering propane to domestic and commercial accounts.  The position includes interacting with all retail personnel, customers and co-workers in a helpful and respectful manner, carrying out record keeping responsibilities as required.  Responsibilities also include carrying out the delivery and sale of propane during the busy season.  The position will also require participating in any gasfitter training courses or programs to work towards achieving the necessary gas license needed to complete propane service and installations on equipment up to 400,000 BTU's.

The successful candidate must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, a valid Class 3A license, safe driving record, excellent interpersonal and sales skills and be prepared to work overtime hours when required.  Preference will be given to candidates that have experience delivering compressed gas products or to those that hold a Propane or Gas Fitters License, or those that are prepared to work toward a Propane or Gas Fitters License.
