We are currently looking for an Interprovincial
Heavy Duty Equipment Technician with experience in
agriculture. You will work for a dynamic and
innovative leader in the marketplace in
Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. This position also has
the opportunity of expansion into heavy duty
trucks.
The company has been selling and servicing heavy
duty trucks, construction, agricultural, forestry,
and oil and gas equipment for over 60 years. They

Travel and Relocation:
Relocation assistance is provided.
Education:
Inter-provincial or Red Seal Certificate in the
Agricultural Equipment Technician Trade preferred.
4th Year apprentices will also be considered.
Preference will be given to those with a valid 1A
license and SGI Safety Certification (Heavy Duty
Truck Technicians)
Skills and Abilities:
o Candidates must be technologically
proficient with laptop diagnostic experience and
well-rounded mechanical service experience in
their respective field. Knowledge of agricultural
equipment is required.
o Knowledge of Selective Catalyst
Reduction(SCR), Exhaust Gas Recirculation(EGR),
Diesel Particular Filter(DPF) and/or Adblue
technology
o Strong computerized diagnostic skills
using OEM specific programs
o Proficiency at reading and interpreting
hydraulic and electric sche-matics
o Commitment to customer service and pride
in quality workmanship
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintenance and repair of equipment.
Own Tools/Equipment:
Required to have own Tools.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- 4th Period Apprentice
- Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Trade Certification
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Specific Skills
- Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance
- Determine extent of repair required
- Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
