URS is currently seeking Electrician Apprentices based out of our Saskatoon, SK location. Reporting directly to the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Manager, this position will play a key role in growing URSs E&I division within Central Saskatchewan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support in the daily execution of E&I projects under the direction of the Journeyman.

Duties include but are not limited to:

    Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts
    Cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings
    Heat Tracing
    Cable Pull

Job Requirements:  

    Registered Electrical Apprentice preferred.  May consider candidates who have taken Pre-Employment Electrician Program from a recognized trade school
    Valid Safety Tickets (H2S, First Aid)
