Mobile Health Professional (RN, LPN, RPN, Paramedic, MLA or MLT)
Are you a health professional looking to work independently and set your own schedule?
MedAxio is seeking an RN, LPN, RPN, Paramedic, MLA or MLT to join our team as a Mobile Health Professional.
As a Mobile Health Professional, you will travel to life insurance applicants homes or workplaces to conduct independent medical evaluations. In this role, you will:
Set and travel to appointments with applicants at a mutually agreed time and location
Gather information on the applicants physical health and medical history using a questionnaire developed by the relevant insurance company
Provide additional services as appropriate for the applicants age and the policy for which they have applied, such as recording vital signs, collecting body fluid samples (blood, urine), and performing ECGs
Communicate with MedAxio regularly regarding the status of each case that you manage.
This is a contract role suitable for a self-directed individual with qualifications including:
Current medical license or registration
Phlebotomy skills, to include at least 6 months of experience with regular blood draws
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to complete medical examinations with care and compassion
A flexible schedule, including availability to work during days, evenings and weekends, as appropriate for your cases
Organizational and administrative skills
Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
Access to a computer and email
Compensation includes a for-service fee schedule and reimbursement for mileage.
