Casual/Part-time Library Assistant
Nortep/Norpac Library is seeking a library assistant for part time work for the 2014/2015 school year. October 2014-June 2015.
Salary:
$14/hr

Hours:  
6 hours a week    
Tuesday/Thursday 11a.m-2p.m.
Some full days when required
Duties:
-    Carry out circulation duties
-    Handle routine student/faculty inquiries
-    Maintain the library collections
-    Complete assigned project work
-    Open, operate and close the Library in the absence of the Librarian
-    Perform other related duties as required.  

Qualifications:
Library experience preffered but not required
The successful candidate must be able to lift and haul heavy books,  and must be comfortable with using an automated library systems. Good interpersonal skills are required to interact postively with students and faculty. Successful candidate must have good time management skills and be able to work unsupervised.
