We currently have mid and high level career opportunities in electrical building design. Our reputation is built on over 55 years of success, with a focus on client relationships, innovative and sustainable design, and diverse electrical engineering projects. You will:
Work with professional staff to complete electrical designs
Work within budgets and schedules
Promote technical excellence in design and drafting standards using AutoCAD / Revit
Meet with clients to develop design, present options, and provide feedback
Provide Construction Administration services, including site field reviews, responding to contractors queries; reviewing shop drawings; preparing site instructions and contemplated change notices.
Requirements:
At least five years of current work experience in buildings electrical systems design Bachelors Degree or higher in Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Ability to register as a Professional Engineer with APEGS
Skill with AutoCAD and drafting methods and techniques
Knowledge of current Canadian building codes
Experience in lighting, power distribution, and electrical building systems
Working knowledge of MS Office programs.
Knowledge of Contract Administration including site reviews, RFI responses, shop drawing review, preparation of site and contract changes, review of progress claims
Working independently and in a team environment
Willingness to travel and valid drivers licence in Saskatchewan
