Job duties:
Complete check-in and check-out procedures
when guests arrive and leave
Choose rooms and hand out keys to guests
Prepare and present bills and take
payments
Deal with bookings by phone, e-mail,
letter, fax or face-to-face
Use computerized system to book rooms and
keep details of bookings and available rooms up to
date
Work with guests to understand their needs
and respond to their complaints
Flexible to work as business level
dictates
Report to hotel receptionist supervisor
Skills:
Successful candidate must hold high school
diploma
Six months or more of work experience in
hospitality and accommodation services is an asset
Good spoken and written communication
skill
Excellent organizational skill
Professional telephone service
Able to adapt to different guests
Punctuality is mandatory
Bilingual or multilingual is an asset
Start immediately
