EMT - Blend (Casual)

Facility:  Galloway Health Centre - Oxbow, SK

Hours of Work: No guaranteed hours.  Must be available a minimum of two (2) days per week.  Must be available all shifts, short shifts, short notice calls, stats & holidays.

Job Summary:
Provides pre-hospital care for patients including assessing, patient care, transferring and transporting.

Required Qualifications:
Must have Emergency Medical Technician Qualifications:  Must possess a Saskatchewan Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certificate/Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Certificate or equivalent (current registration or eligible for Saskatchewan Health Licensure).  CPR Level current, BTLS, AED.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Valid Class 4 Driver's License.

** EMT Blend positions are CCA/EMT positions and also require that individuals meet CCA qualifications and criteria.

Required Qualifications:
- CPR Level C certificate
- First Aid certificate
- Grade 10
- Registered with Saskatchewan Health as an Emergency Medical Responder
- Valid Class 4 Driver's License
