Description

Kramer Ltd. has an immediate opportunity for a Resident Heavy Duty Field Technician to join our team in Prince Albert. If youre a high energy, self-motivated individual who is willing to work hard in a team-oriented environment and are ready to think HUGE, we want to talk to you!
Whats involved?
Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all heavy duty equipment and/or related equipment in a timely fashion
Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed
Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools
Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturer specifications
Perform routine maintenance work
Communicate effectively with customer regarding parts availability and schedule repairs
Complete time cards, service reports daily.
Perform other administrative duties and warranty processes as required.  
Whats required?
A valid drivers license
Ability to travel and work offsite as well as work varied hours including weekends and evenings
Willing to work at other Kramer locations when required.
Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components
The ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
Comfort using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources
Mechanical and mathematic aptitude
Have a concern for safety and demonstrate safe working procedures
Excellent ability to manage time.
Excellent communication skill.
Interprovincial Journeyman Certificate or equivalent.
Caterpillar equipment experience preferred.
