Description

The Oxbow Community Childcare Centre is seeking Casual/Part Time Educator to work from 3:00pm - 6:00 pm daily, Monday to Friday. and fill in at the Centre as needed (covering employee holidays, sick days, etc.). The successful applicants will work with children between the ages of 18 months - 12 years and will be expected to plan quality experiences, activities, and interactions with the children.

Requirements of Employment:

- Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check
- Current First Aid/CPR Level "C" (or willing to obtain)
- Results of a Tuberculosis Test
- ECE Level I or higher (or willing to obtain) if working more than 64 hours per month

Applicants must be:

- Willing to work as part of a team
- Able to problem solve
- Able to work a variety of hours (7:30am - 6:00pm, Monday - Friday)
- Able to plan and implement activities
- Willing to work with varying ages

Education:  ECE Level 1 or higher (or willing to obtain)

Experience:  Preferred but employer is willing to train the right candidate
