Responsibilities include:
Implement and supervise Division Marketing Plan in effort to retain and increase revenues.
Assist in leading and directing daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency and profitability.
Coordinate with agronomist on product testing and trials.
Stay abreast of the developments of agricultural products and practices.
Assist branch managers in resolving customer complaints.
Develop a working relationship with suppliers to benefit CPS.
Demonstrate professionalism.
Develop, coordinate, and review promotion and pertinent advertising.
Involvement in the community. Assist with Field Days and grower meetings.
Report unsafe working conditions notifying appropriate party. Promote and enforce EH&S programs.
Work directly with Facility Managers and Crop Consultants campaigning marketing programs.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired qualifications:
Agronomic/Agricultural based degree or equivalent experience of 5 years
Very high degree of oral and written communication capabilities and good listening skills
Good persuasive and motivational skills
Basic business skills of branch management
Thorough understanding of fertilizer and agricultural chemical usage
Required knowledge/understanding of branch operation and equipment
Computer skills in Microsoft (Excel, Word, Exchange, etc.) and company agronomic programs
Understanding of the agricultural demands and practices of the division
Ability to handle stressful situations
Extensive travel by vehicle required
Frequent overtime required
