The Associate Medical Clinic is currently
accepting applications for a Business Manager.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
-Participating in the selection, training and
supervision of all clinic staff
-Evaluating staff performance and disciplinary
actions
-Acting as the IT contact to resolve technical
problems
-Assisting in the development/implementation of
cost effective policies
-Ensuring the effective implementation and
administration of benefit programs, wage scales,
job descriptions, personnel policies and payroll
practices
-Assisting with day-to-day accounting matters
-Serving as a liaison between clinic and external
agencies
-Working with medical staff to ensure quality
patient care and services are provided
-Maintaining the strictest confidentiality
-Hold management, staff and physician meetings on
a regular basis
-Performing other duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Knowledge of computer systems and applications
including Microsoft Word and Excel
-General knowledge of accounting practices and
procedures
-Excellent verbal and written communication
-Skilled in developing and maintaining effective
working relationships
-Ability to take initiative and to exercise
independent judgment, decision-making and problem-
solving expertise
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
-Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Business
Administration (or a combination of related
education and operational experience)
-Experience in a management or supervisory role
-Experience in a health care organization is an
asset
