We are currently seeking an energetic individual to join our team as a Site Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness, repair and maintenance of our properties.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Keep the entire building, including the grounds, sidewalks and parking lots clean and safe (including snow removal)
- Show units
- Assist in vacancy preparation by monitoring contractors
- Perform annual maintenance inspections on all units
- Perform move-in/move-out inspections
- Provide tenant orientations for new tenants
- Perform minor repairs, as required
- Maintain effective, positive public relations with tenants, contractors, SHA staff and general public
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent, supplemented by up to 2 years relevant experience
- Fireman's Certificate is preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Basic working knowledge of building trades: carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems, etc.
- Consistent display of integrity and a good work ethic
* The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory criminal background check and pass a fitness test.
