Job Summary:
Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Services, the Manager of Accounting is accountable for providing input into and innovative service
delivery for Regional Financial Services. This includes the preparation of accurate, timely, financial information, which outlines the Region's financial
position, in conjunction with the Vice President of Corporate Services and the Financial Services Team. The Manager of Accounting promotes quality
services through the development of policies and standards. The Manager of Accounting provides leadership by acting as a resource, facilitator,
coordinator, role model and advocate for Financial Services.
Experience:
Professional Accounting Designation or related university Degree and/or a suitable combination of education and experience. Previous experience
and familiarity with audit and year-end procedures.Leys4843
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Related university Degree and/or a professional accounting designation, i.e. C.A., C.G.A., C.M.A.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics accounting software applications would be an asset
