Light of the Prairies Society is a community based
organization that provides Residential and Day
Programming, in the City of Saskatoon.  As a
Direct Support Worker you will be part of a team
that provides care, recreation and community
opportunities to adults with cognitive needs. We
offer a great benefit package, family dental,
medical and optical coverage as well as Pension,
Life and Disability Insurance after 3 months of
probation.

Job Expectation:
Personal care, cleaning, supervision, planning and
implementing programming individualized for each
client.  Potential employees would possess
creative thinking, the ability to plan activities
and attend community outings with clients.    

Current Opportunities:
We currently have a full time and casual openings in our day
program.  The positions vary from permanent full
time to casual,starting immediately.  The hours of work are between 9:00am and 4:00pm Monday - Friday and all statutory
holidays off.


A successful applicant will need:
    Grade 12 or a GED
    Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's  
        license (no probation)
    CPR & 1st Aid within 3 months of
        employment.
    It is necessary that you read, write and
        speak English.
