Receptionist/Legal Assistant required for a busy law firm.
DAILY DUTIES
- Answering telephone, taking messages and transferring calls
- Calculating semi-monthly payroll and preparing Canada Revenue Agency payments
- Copying and scanning documents
- Filing Corporate Annual Returns with Saskatchewan Corporations Branch
- Greeting clients
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail
- Handling sensitive information and maintaining client confidentiality
- Maintaining client and office files
- Office machine maintenance and ordering office supplies
- Preparing client files and documents for hearings
- Preparing monthly billing, processing payments and making bank deposits
- Writing letters and forwarding documents to and on behalf of clients
REQUIREMENTS
Experience:
- Legal and accounting experience would be an asset
- Previous experience working in an office setting would be an asset
Skills:
- Average typing speed of 60 wpm
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong communication skills
- Organised
- Must be Bondable
