WHO WE ARE
Habitat for Humanity Saskatoon is a non-profit
organization working towards a world where
everyone has a safe, decent and affordable place
to live. The organization mobilizes volunteers and
partners to build simple, decent housing in order
to provide low-income families with access to
affordable home ownership.

With the help of volunteers, Habitat
Saskatoon has provided safe, decent and affordable
housing for more than 50 families since 1993.  Habitat
Saskatoon is one of 69 Canadian
affiliates and is a member of Habitat for Humanity
International.

JOB SUMMARY
The Construction Site Co-ordinator is the face of our
organization and represents Habitat Saskatoon on
our construction sites.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE:
*Volunteer safety
*Teaching/training volunteers to carry out
any and all tasks involved in the residential
construction process
*Maintaining the build site, schedule, and
security of the site and materials therein on a
daily basis
*Work with the Project Manager and
Volunteer Coordinator to develop and execute
construction plans
*Because we build our homes with volunteer
labour, the Construction Site Co-ordinator must balance the demands of the construction process with providing a meaningful experience for our volunteers


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
*You enjoy working with people
*Posses extensive knowledge of residential home
construction
*Work well as part of a team
*Can work effectively with volunteers with various
skill levels and with diverse cultural and ethnic
backgrounds
*Can perform physical duties as required
*Posses a valid class 5 drivers license
