Role Summary
As a Loss Prevention Officer, your responsibility is to minimize the financial losses of a retail operation related to theft, vandalism, accident, and injury. You will possess the ability to detect safety issues and security violations, and take the appropriate actions to control the situation and apprehend suspects. You will also be responsible for following company policies to ensure the situation is safely and correctly handled including contacting the proper authorities and completing paperwork to proceed criminally.

Responsibilities
Monitor customer traffic identifying and observing high risk individuals for product theft
Confront and apprehend individuals engaging in product theft
Undertake site specific training as required and follow directions from Supervisor
Observing, record keeping and report writing.
Complete incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents
Perform other duties as required
Education, knowledge and experience required
Legal age of majority
Valid Security Services License
Valid Drivers License
Previous experience in security, loss prevention, or investigations preferred

Ability to patrol for extended periods of time
