The Executive Royal Hotel is seeking a maintenance manager to look after both the building's cosmetic and functional systems. The candidate must be able to work independently to maintain a 105 room hotel with a restaurant, lounge, banquet rooms and small exercise facility.
This position answers directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities include:
maintaining the exterior of the building, parking lot, and common areas
maintaining all equipment in guest rooms
Troubleshooting problems, and establishing relationships with contractors.
Working with our housekeeping department to establish preventative maintenance.
The position does require day to day attention to detail, repairing electrical and plumbing issues, guestroom fixes, pool and hot tub checks, and kitchen and dining room maintenance.
All issues require troubleshooting by the maintenance manager, prior to the use of outside contractors.
This position may be suitable for an experienced maintenance worker looking for the opportunity to enter management.
3-5 years of building operational experience is preferred.
Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
Hotel experience is considered an asset
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
