Auditorium Manager (Out of Scope)
        
Prairie South School Division No. 210, based in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, invites applications for the position of Auditorium Manager of the A.E. Peacock Centennial Auditorium.

Effective Date: September 15, 2014
    
Deadline for Application:  September 10, 2014

The Auditorium Manager performs some or all of the following duties:
    Supervise all auditorium events including scheduling, set-up, presentation and tear down
    Coordinate the technical demands of productions, performances and events using the auditorium
    Coordinate the technical demands of single-date events as needed by the greater school community into the overall schedule.
    Ensure good public relations and close communication with the Manager of Facilities
    Ensure that terms of each rental agreement are met
    Maintain safety and efficiency of all auditorium technical facilities: physical plant, stage rigging, construction area, lighting, and sound equipment
    Develop a working relationship with building,maintenance crew and external contractors
    Foster a professional, collegial relationship with all production coordinators, and school personnel involved in productions, programs and events
    Ensure that trouble calls received from Auditorium users are acted upon
    Perform minor repairs to auditorium items such drapery rods, stage floor, and seats as required
    Respond to inquiries or complaints and resolve problems regarding rentals
    Other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:
    A minimum of a Grade 12 diploma
    One year directly related experience is required
    Excellent public relations skills
    Working knowledge of construction and set design
    Working knowledge of lighting design and stage rigging
    Working knowledge of audio and sound reinforcement
    Knowledge of stage management/or production management
    Knowledge and clear understanding of professional standards of stage safety
