Major Responsibilities:
1. Perform all duties in compliance with all laws
and regulations and attend and complete all
required health and safety training, report all
accidents and take every precaution reasonable to
ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
2. Receive and ship merchandise in and out of
unit, and support by filling out/completing
required documentation. Verify the accuracy of
shipments against vendor invoices, bills of
lading, customer orders and related papers.
Investigate and follow up on discrepancies.
3. Provide customer service at dock pick-up, eg.
load/unload merchandise into customer vehicles,
respond to
customer queries, resolve problems/issues, ensure
merchandise is not damaged during loading, etc.
4. Collaborate with other teams with tasks such as
ad set-up, inventory/PCN tasks, merchandise re-
flows.
5. Move merchandise within the store as required,
including to/from stockroom, sales floor,
customers, warehouse, etc., in accordance with
defined procedures.
6. Practice good housekeeping standards and ensure
safety standards in the work area by clearing
debris, removing obstacles that could interfere
with traffic movement, etc.
8. Perform other duties as required.
Success in this role calls for strong customer
service skills and an energetic and diligent work
ethic. The ideal job candidate will have previous
shipping/receiving skills, or an equivalent
understanding of basic shipping/receiving
requirements.
