Description

The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club is looking for a Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to be part of our every growing Retail Operations team.

Reporting to the Manager, Warehouse & Retail Inventory the position is responsible for the delivery of all retail goods to The Rider Store locations as per the delivery schedule. Supplemental to deliveries, this position will support warehouse operations through participation in receiving and shipping duties along with various other warehouse tasks as required.  The position plays a key support role in customer sales and service in order to increase sales to meet annual sales targets.  

Major Responsibilities:

prepares and loads materials in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
participates in shipping and receiving of goods
ensures good housekeeping and safety procedures are established and maintained in the warehouse
assists in the support of Rider programs and events as assigned
performs other duties as delegated or assigned
follow all Club policies and procedures

Knowledge/Skills/Attributes:

high school diploma or GED equivalent
basic proficiency in the use of computer software including spreadsheets, databases, internet based systems, email etc.
completion of forklift certification and/or willingness to complete the training process
must be able to tolerate prolonged standing, repetitive bending, reaching, climbing and lifting items over 30kgs
a valid class 5 drivers license and must provide a drivers abstract ($10 through SGI)
demonstrated aptitude for change and innovation in a fast paced environment with frequent changes in priorities
availability to work irregular hours and work schedules
