KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
Full network administration including servers, network cabling, routers, Active Directory for approximately 90 nodes in 3 offices.
Perform all duties and responsibilities required to maintain the network.
Manage all external contracts necessary to support services.
Implement, maintain and upgrade all software applications according to approved recommendations. Introduce new software to improve existing software solutions.
Provide support for all end users of the system including initial training and education, ongoing desktop support, off hours help desk service and support for remote end-users.
Develop, revise and periodically review policies, procedures and policy manuals as necessary to maintain acceptable service levels.
Recommend purchases and maintain all equipment and hardware. Develop an Evergreening plan to meet the needs of the organization.
Maintain an inventory of all computer and media equipment, manage used equipment sales and maintain a bookable system for laptops and projectors.
Maintain and support voice and data services including video conferencing, VOIP, Outlook/Blackberry integration (BES), DID phone lines and unified messaging.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
Three to Five years sole responsibility for networked IT environment.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft Office, 2003 or newer.
Microsoft Certified Trainer
Minimum one year experience as an instructor teaching software applications.
