Clifton Associates Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Lab Technologist/Lab Manager with related education/experience in the materials testing field for our Lloydminster office.
Reporting to the Materials Dept. Lead you will:
- Manage & oversee all activities related to the project, including but not limited to planning & allocation of resources, contracting with client, document control, financial management, budget control, client invoicing, scope changes, project quality control, client satisfaction & communication.
- Responsible for learning the contractual & technical needs of the client including terms & conditions of the assignment, subcontractors flow-down requirements & elements of scope of work & schedule.
- Ensure that all team members adhere to the requirements with strict observation to ensure protection of company & client liabilities, client satisfaction & technical success of the project.
- Responsible for providing support services to the internal depts. in addition to providing direct services to the client.
- Provide technical support to the fields of soil, aggregate, concrete, asphalt, construction monitoring & inspections.
- Responsible for ensuring technologists/technicians have access to all required PPE, continuing safety documentation for field & lab settings.
- Ensure that project team members contribute to a stress free environment & conduct themselves in a professional & ethical manner.
- Achieve a commendable reputation for the company with our clients.
As the successful candidate you:
- are a graduate of a recognized post secondary program related to Civil Engineering Technology &/or have experience as a technologist in a variety of related disciplines
- have a valid drivers license & be insurable under the Clifton Associates Ltd. policy
- are willing to travel & work in remote locations & work evenings/weekends when needed
- will satisfy drug & alcohol screening requirements
