TERM:
The term of work is for many days until November 28.
DUTIES:
Work with Christmas trees.
- Trim trees to ensure fullness and nice shape.
- Harvesting with chain saws
- Loading trailers with trees, wreaths, etc.
- Most of your time is busy and very physically demanding; you will be tired at the end of the day.
Dress Code:
Work clothes that can take sap stains & the rigors of physically moving a large quantity of trees daily in variable weather conditions typically varying from +20 to -32 degrees. You need a hoodie (bunny hug) warm gloves, neck tube, hat (toque), foot wear for warm, cold, wet or snow conditions. Bring an extra-large lunch and plenty of drinking water. Your punctuality and positive attitude will be appreciated by all.
SKILL:
We track all products we ship and require you to be able to read all our tags and to also visibly see and distinguish the colour of them (we print on numerous colours to assist all in recognition).
WHERE:
We are located 24 km south of Prince Albert. A 15 passenger van to transport staff leaves the city at 7:30 AM. The main nursery is located 24 kms south west of Prince Albert.
