Duties and Responsibilities:
Basic Function
* Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the physical asset and maximizing the returns from the asset in accordance with Broadstreet Properties objectives.
* Responsible for training and development of all personnel assigned.
* Assists Regional Manager with special projects, administrative tasks, and other non-property management related work.
* Represents Broadstreet at RTB hearings
* Responds to escalated tenant concerns in a courteous, professional and expedient manner.
Relationships
* Reports to Regional Manager on all aspects of every Property within the portfolio.
* Supervises all on-site personnel at properties assigned and personnel assigned on special projects.
* Maintains relationships with other departments within the company, including human resources, safety, accounting, and purchasing.
* Maintains relationships with tenants as appropriate, and with the community and the professional
Marketing and Leasing
* Reviews all rental applications and lease forms for accuracy and compliance with resident policy.
* Makes recommendations to improve marketing and leasing programs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Knowledge of modern office procedures and methods including phone, email, office systems, and record keeping
* Knowledge of Residential Tenancy Branch regulations, forms and procedures
* Skill to type 50 words per minute
* Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
* Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems
Credentials and Experience:
* Undergraduate degree preferred.
* Minimum three years property management experience.
* Minimum of one year of managerial experience, supervising five or more subordinates
