Reporting to the Recruitment Coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for the efficient operation of the recruitment and on-boarding process by ensuring accuracy in the areas of job requisitions, postings, awarding and orientation.
The incumbent shall:
Execute a diversity of Customer Service functions, frequently of a confidential nature, in an accurate and timely fashion.
Assume responsibility without direct supervision.
Use initiative and judgement to deal with matters requiring attention within the scope of assigned authority.
Provide solution focused services adhering to department standards.
Effectively use available communication tools
Ensure efficient information management by establishing and maintaining an accurate and functional file system, manage electronic files in an organized manner and ensure office procedures result in work flows that are tracked and measured to improve system performance.
Ensure Lean methodology is incorporated into process improvements.
Participates as a member of a complex team, utilizing a strength based and customer service approach while continually striving for excellence.
Develops annual Workplan for area of responsibility and provides quarterly reports
Experience:
Previous experience would be a asset
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Ability to work within time-pressured and intense human relations environment
Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office products, Publisher, database software, e-mail and internet
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Experience in a unionized environment would be an asset
