As one of Canada's 50 Best Managed companies and a leader in the electrical construction industry, Alliance Energy is currently working on a large industrial project near Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. The project is a potash mine expansion scheduled to complete in spring 2015. We are looking for permanent, full time Journeymen & 3rd and 4th year Instrumentation Technicians/Mechanics. Ideal candidate should possess the following skills/abilities:
-Industrial construction experience is an asset.
-Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
-Experience installing instrument tubing and associated raceways, as well as checking and calibrating instrument loops.
-Experience in HART communication and PACTware a definite asset.
-Hardworking with great attention to details.
-Ability to work in a team environment.
-Strong emphasis on safety.
Journeymen rate is $40.78/hr + $4/hr retention bonus. RRSP, pension and competitive health and dental benefits. The rates for Y3 & Y4 apprentices are 80% and 90% respectively. The work shift is 14 days on, 7 days off. LOA is $145/day, travel pay also available for those residing further than 100km from the job site. Daily transportation from Saskatoon to the job site is provided.
