Description

Reporting to the Vice President Health, Safety and Culture, the Director of Human Resources is responsible for leading, planning, directing, and monitoring the overall management of human resource programs and functions, including labour relations for the Kelsey Trail Health Region.  The Director provides support to 16 Directors and 85 Managers encompassing 31 regional facilities/entitites on all human resource issues and legislation including human rights, labour relations and labour standards.  

KTHR's mission is working together to improve the health of people.  The Director works individually and as a member of multiple teams within the organization, the region and the province to contribute to this mission within available financial, human, and capital resources.  

The Director provides strategic leadership, direction, management and support as well as planning for, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the position's key areas of responsibiity including Labour Relations, Recruitment & Retention, Training and Development, and Representative Workforce.  

Qualifications:  Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent combinaqtion of training and experience.
