The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is responsible to provide support in the alignment of recruitment services within the Kelsey Trail Health Region, strategic plans and program priorities helping to achieve our collective goals while respecting/maintaining compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating effective marketing, recruitment and retention initiatives which ensures a stable and consistent workforce of practicing Physicians and employees at all levels throughout the Kelsey Trail Health Region. This incloudes physician resource planning, physician recruitment and retention intiatives, appointment of medical staff to appropriate communities, immigration administration, employment documentation, contract administration, and licensing. The Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is also the first point of contact for all potential and previously recruited physicians and is the main spokesperson for all physician recruitment related inquiries.
In addition to Physician Recruitment, the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator is responsible for researching, planning, developing and implementing strategies and programs related to the recruitment and retention of all employees for the Kelsey Trail Health Region. The incumbent will ensure current legislation, policies, collective agreements, and immigration requirements in regard to employment are adhered to and will be representing the Kelsey Trail Health Region in recruitment and retention initiatives.
Required Qualifications are a degree or diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent combination of training and experience.
