Description

Position Purpose:
Develop and achieve sales and business development goals to meet Living Benefits sales plans through assigned MGAs and advisors as well as serving as the one-point of contact for assigned Qualified Producers.  

Key Accountabilities:
Develop market intelligence to identify potential new opportunities within assigned territory
Apply a continuous-improvement approach to achieving superior brokerage experience
Demonstrate commitment to take ownership of client/brokerage problems at first point of contact for Qualified Producers
Deliver a consistently superior client experience through the brokerage by focusing on insurance advice and promoting submission of high quality insurance applications
Liaise with advisors, head office partners, Sales Support, etc, to ensure business gets settled
Represent RBCI within assigned territory to increase market awareness of RBCI MGA/Brokerage capability
Build profitable MGA/Brokerage relationships, achieving business growth goals, revenue plans and cost controls
Partner with Inside Wholesaler and Sales Support to maximize sales from all advisors
Leverage Inside Wholesaler to provide product knowledge & system training to key distribution partners as needed
Deliver presentations to advisors on sales concepts, market and product updates
Increase external network to contribute to the community and to capitalize on business opportunities (centre of influence)
Partner effectively with internal partners to grow the business through increased COI development and reciprocal referrals to internal partners
Deepening existing client relationships by increasing the number of RBCI product lines an Advisor sells


Knowledge / Experience:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years Living Benefit Sales Experience
- Extensive knowledge of the Living Benefit market & MGA model
- LLQP (Life License)
- Proven success meeting and exceeding sales targets
