Our shop in Provost, Alberta is currently looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator. This position will supervise and coordinate a perpetual inventory record of material, supplies and other general stock items; does related warehouse duties as required
Key Responsibilities
Supervises and coordinates the appropriate processing of inventory related functions
Provides accurate and current inventory data for purchasing decisions
Works with Purchasing Manager to maintain the Inventory and Supply to decrease cost and create efficiencies in warehouse;
Performs Cycle and Perpetual counts and maintains accurate records.
Maintains inventories at optimum levels to prevent under-or-over investment in inventory;
Assists in the maintenance, verification and processing of production order information.
Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation;
Prepares reports of inventory balance, shortages, as required;
Performs other administrative duties/tasks as assigned by Manager
Key Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
Specialized training (inventory/parts management) at Post Secondary preferred
Minimum 1+ year experience in a inventory or parts-related position
Proficiency with Microsoft based software
Class 5 License, clean 5-year drivers abstract
Transportation/Travel Information
