Description

The Municipal Worker 2 is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Servus Sports Centre.  Specific duties include:
- operate the Zamboni to maintain ice surfaces setup and takedown of sports equipment for field houses
- setup and takedown of meeting rooms
- maintain records relating to facility operations
- outdoor yard work, including flower bed maintenance and snow removal
- assisting patrons with facility issues
- assisting other departments in the facility, as needed
- other maintenance duties as assigned  

The right person will like to keep themselves busy while keeping facility bookings on schedule.  This position requires shift work including weekends and statutory holidays as scheduled.  

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess, as a minimum, a valid Class 5 vehicle operator's license issued in Saskatchewan or Alberta with a clean driving record.  The completion of a Level One or Level Two Arena Course is preferred.  Must be in good physical condition, and capable of operating maintenance equipment and hand tools in an efficient and responsible manner.  In addition, the Municipal Worker 2 must be neat, presentable, and have the ability to communicate with the general public and facility user groups.  The individual must be a responsible person, and be able to work independently.
