To meet the growing demands of the Building Science Group, we are seeking a dynamic and outgoing individual to manage and perform inspection and reporting services required to complete projects for Pinchin Wests real estate clients. This position may be based out of either Saskatoon or Regina.
The ideal candidate would bring a working knowledge of construction industry practices, including proposal/procurement processes, project management and contract administration services. This is a highly rewarding leadership position requiring the ideal candidate to perform in a fast paced environment with a strong support team.
Qualifications:
A college diploma or university degree, preferably in a Construction, Structural Engineering or Architectural related field
Registered Roof Observer (RRO) designation would be an asset
P. Eng or other construction/design professional designation preferred but not necessary
High level of verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities:
Perform property condition assessments, energy audits, condominium reserve fund studies, localized and comprehensive building rehabilitation, parking garage assessments, etc.
Schedule and conduct site visits and inspections
Review construction work and report on the builders adherence to contract documentation
Prepare technical reports
Schedule and supervise sub-contractors
Participate in business development and marketing to new and existing clients
