Description

Primary Responsibilities
Organize daily team operations- deal with technical aspects pertaining to cultivation (following production schedule, task   delegation, etc.)
Scheduling- work with Cultivation Manager in developing production schedules- organize daily activities/tasks pertaining to plant propagation, growth, etc. based on production schedules.
Ensure smooth execution of all routine tasks in the propagation and growing of plants (cuttings, transplants, irrigation and bio-control application)-all materials/tools available for activity, all activities are properly documented on cycle tracking sheets and all activities are carried out in accordance to SOP's.
Provide demonstrative SOP training and possibly other training and technology transfer to other team members as assigned by the cultivation manager.
Organize facility cleaning and sanitation- organize chamber changeover cleaning and maintenance and ensure corresponding paperwork is complete.
Staffing- coordinate staffing requirements for all activities and organize employee workload to meet all required deadlines.
Responsible for all cycle paperwork- ensure that assistants are making proper daily tracking of all plants and environmental conditions.

Qualifications
Minimum of a 2 year diploma in a biological sciences related discipline with 2-5 years of related work experience.
Experience working in a GMP facility considered an asset.
Superior organization, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to do detailed and routine work required.
Ability to coach, train and follow up with people to ensure production goals are met.
Proficient with computer systems for data logging and reporting are required.
Incumbents will be required to pass a Government of Canada Security Check, a criminal record check, a pre-employment drug test, and must hold Canadian Citizenship or Landed Immigrant Status.
