Description

DUTIES:
This position performs a variety of parks maintenance duties. During summer months, responsibilities include: maintenance of lawns, trees, shrubs, and sports fields, removal of litter on green spaces, and minor construction duties.  During winter months: snow removal, outdoor ice maintenance, and boulevard tree maintenance.

The position will include the operation of bobcats, mowers, tractors, and trucks. The ability to work in a bucket truck and perform aerial tree pruning is a must. The position may be require some shift work.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Vehicle Operator's License registered in Alberta or Saskatchewan with a clean driving record.  Must be in good physical condition.  Must be capable of operating small maintenance equipment and hand tools in an efficient, responsible manner in accordance with recognized procedures.
