Wage: Ranges between $14- $15/ hour

The YMCA of Regina is creating a Youth Leadership Team! Staff will be expected to seamlessly transition between 2 programs: Beyond The Bell & Tomorrows Ys Leaders.

Beyond The Bell:
    Is based out of Arcola and Albert Community Schools (M-F, 3:00- 6:00)
    Designed for youth grades 1-6
    An after-school program which incorporates numeracy, literacy, leadership development, recreation and healthy lifestyles into its program plans

Tomorrows Ys Leaders (TYL):
    Runs at the Downtown YMCA from 6:30- 8:30 on Tuesdays & Thursday evenings  (Oct- May)
    Designed for Teens ages 13-18
    An evening program which provides mentorship to Aboriginal youth
    Leadership development, employment readiness, life skills, recreation focused

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
-    Willingness to learn
-    Self- motivated, be able to work independently and part of a team
-    Past experience and interest in working with youth
-    Experience in lesson/ program planning
-    Must be able to obtain a Criminal Record Check & Vulnerable Sector Check
-    First Aid & CPR are an asset, but could be completed as a part of YMCA Training
-    Demonstrate ability to be a positive role model, mentor and authentic leader
-    Scheduling flexibility and evening availability
