Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide support to hotels within territory to maximize revenue and implement profit improvement strategies
Promote the objectives, vision and core Obsessions of MasterBUILT Hotels
Participate in the recruitment of leadership positions
Ensure consistent communication with reporting GMs
Develop and follow up on action plans with reporting GMs
Leverage relationships and resources with area hotels, owners, properties, regional and corporate offices
Ensure coverage of reporting hotels in time of staff shortages, emergency situations, and vacation
Participate in community affairs and events
Represent MasterBUILT Hotels to hotel owners or brand officials
Communicate any significant hotel concerns and provide timely feedback on operations
Assist with the implementation of any company initiatives
Establish and communicate objectives that support and align with corporates vision
Monitor operational efficiencies to ensure profitability
Develop budget and business plans for all hotels within territory
Manage profit and loss responsibilities for all hotels within the territory
Maximize revenue per available room through yield management
Attract, hire and retain qualified employees
Communicate daily and weekly with the DOO
Ensure all health and safety standards are exceeded
Maintain all month end documentation and providing the accounting department accurate reports
Process payroll for employees
Provide cash/credit card summaries
Ensure banking is completed on a daily basis
Provide staff with skills training to provide value-added service to customers
Provide leadership and guidance
Coach and mentor reporting GMs
Advise and discuss succession planning with direct reports
Ensure high morale and employee engagement
Monitor, maintain and increase customer satisfaction ratings
Work alongside DOSM to implement marketing initiatives
