Job responsibilities for this position include: Managing class schedules & equipment;Preparing, organizing, & ensuring quality of delivery of classroom lecture & hands-on skills exercises at class sites;Packing & shipping class materials & equipment per company standards;Completing class follow-up procedures to maintain quality of training;Providing superior customer service & precise technical content delivery;Building relationships with students through advice & information;Directing students to appropriate sources to meet their product needs;Staying current on industry trends;Updating course content as assigned. This position requires strong oral, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, & project management skills; in-depth knowledge & understanding of the fiber optic industry, products, & applications; the ability to adapt quickly to customer needs & learn new products & procedures; a demonstrated competence with MS Office; & a willingness to travel. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with integrity & confidence who can work in even the most challenging environments with limited supervision, & who is comfortable in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment. They will be able to balance both strategic & tactical responsibilities & work effectively under pressure & in time-sensitive situations. They will possess a strong aptitude to simultaneously coordinate multiple complex tasks, & be capable of translating complex technical themes into easily understandable explanations.
