The position involves providing casework and support services to teen mothers, most of whom are attending a specialized high school program. The successful applicant will possess excellent mentoring and case planning skills and be able to work well with young people and community professionals and manage multiple priorities. Adaptability, teamwork and superior problem-solving skills are needed. Understanding of early childhood and teen development, relationship abuse, and related issues will be put to use in this position. Typically, these skills will have been acquired through education and experience within a human services field. Family Service Regina also recognizes the value of lived experience and informal learning.
