1. Gather information required for manufacturing documentation.
2. Create floor layout of product lines.
3. Perform time studies using balancing software(s) and record videos for a considerable number of hours.
4. Work closely with operators, team leads, supervisors and ME's to come up with workflow standards to reduce and/or eliminate unbalance loss.
5. Generate project proposal for line balancing documentation using PowerPoint or similar software.
6. Reports to the management group the outcome of the line balancing projects.
7. Work closely with fellow line balancing team members and work out schedules to accomplish line balancing activities faster.
8. Perform other duties as required or directed and work flexibly and competently in different areas/roles.
9. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
10. Follow prescribed safety standards, rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Working towards a post-secondary education related to business or engineering (or related field), recent graduate or equivalent work experience.
2. Strong written and oral communication skills, extremely self-motivated, and able to work well in a team setting.
3. Strong background in WCM methodologies, especially the balancing tools.
4. Proficient in the use of a PC, particularly with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
5. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
6. Strong organizational and planning abilities.
7. Able to sketch and do layouts.
8. Demonstrated leadership abilities.
9. Good working knowledge of plant processes.
