POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing protection, safety, and security for guests, employees and the physical property of Saskatoon Inn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain professional internal/external guest service
Conduct regular patrols (minimum 3 every night) of property
Assist guests with their luggage and drive hotel shuttle van to and from Airport overnight for hotel guest transportation.
Note all fire, security and safety problems during shift, takes corrective/preventive measures
Respond to all medical emergency calls throughout the hotel as the first responder to perform first aid and or life saving techniques as required
Respond to all reported disturbance calls throughout the hotel providing notice of warning and eviction from hotel to those involved as required
Respond to all calls regarding undesirable persons and if necessary, removes undesirable persons from the Hotel
Ensure all security precautions are taken at special functions, banquets, parties, etc.
Perform Associate security spot checks as required;
Liaises with SPD or RCMP as required to gain or exchange any information regarding incidents in the property.

Qualifications and Technical Experience
Must have or complete the Sask. Justice Security course, or be willing to get before employment
Must have clean Criminal Background Check
Be 18 years of age or older
Have own means of transportation and valid class5 Drivers Licence with clean Abstract
2-4 years previous experience in security field is considered an asset
Knowledge of Criminal Code and municipal by-laws; Occupational First Aid Certificate level C
Typing/basic computer skills (MS Word, Outlook) and good communication skills.
Available to work 11 p.m. tp 7 a.m.
