Description of responsibilities and duties:
Manage incoming service calls, direct drivers and resolve service issues.
Dispatch incoming service calls to drivers.
Balance various items including daily pickups, fuel usage and labour hours, etc.
Troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pickup problems.
Well organized person in order to provide the highest quality of service to our customers.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be attentive to detail.
Understand the importance of safety.
Able to understand and navigate mapping in Prince Albert and surrounding northern areas.
Skills and Abilities:
Must have basic security clearance and be bondable; must have own transportation; have keyboarding skills of 41-60 wpm; have knowledge and experience working with accounting software, database software; MS Word and Excel.
Must have the ability to adapt to new software as required (eg.) proprietary dispatch and accounting software. Significant use of memory, continuous learning / searching out information, computer use, finding information, critical thinking, decision making, problem solving, working well with others, oral communication and file documents. Working large workload, attention to detail, tight deadlines, work under pressure, fast-paced environment.
