Job Overview:

The Refinery & Utilities Supervisor is responsible for the safe and efficient coordination and oversight of the refinery and utilities operations of the Nipawin facility.  This includes but is not limited to the following duties:

-Oversee the adherence and compliance with all Corporate Safety Programs, Sask. OH&S Safety Regulations and Sask. Boiler and Pressure Vessel Act & Regulations.
-Ensure refinery production plan is executed safely and efficiently, identifies opportunities for improvement.
-Supervise and schedule the refinery and utilities personnel.
-Assist with equipment inspection and repair/replacement planning of the refinery and utilities infrastructure, equipment.
-Complete food safety and personnel safety inspections and employee training as required.
-Responsible for the administration of the Food Safety Security Program.
-Administration of the Union Contract within the refinery and utilities department.

-Must hold a 4th Class Power Engineering Ticket and be willing to pursue their 3rd Class Ticket.
-Excellent time mgmt & communication skills.
-Working knowledge and experience of basic computer programs (Word, Excel, etc.), SAP and ADP.
-Previous supervisory experience.
