Description

Grit Industries Inc. requires Journeyman Electricians.  This position is responsible for electrical applications on oilfield related services including facilities, single well batteries, etc.  The electrician will also be involved in the fabrication, installation and commissioning of control panels and components on B149.3 Burner Management Systems and will be required to participate in the installation final walk-through. Duties may also include installation and maintenance within Company facilities.


Job Duties

-    Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains control panels and their components
-    Ensures that work is in accordance with relevant codes and specifications
-    Inspect electrical systems and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with codes and specifications
-    Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring to ensure conformance to safety codes
-    Duties or special projects as requested by management


Requirements

-    Oilfield experience
-    H2S and First Aid tickets required
-    Possess a valid drivers license    
-    Experience with routine maintenance operations
-    Registered Journeyman status
    
Work Conditions

-    Physical ability to lift up to 50lb
-    Travel to locations required
-    Overtime as required
