Prairie Machine & Parts Mfg. Partnership is internationally recognized as a leading manufacturer of heavy industrial machinery and machine components. PM&P is a full service machine shop, welding & fabrication shop and heavy industrial assembly shop located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

We are currently recruiting for a full time Industrial Painter.  

The Opportunity

    To paint metal surfaces utilizing a hand held spray gun, roller and brush.
    Prepare and set up parts for painting; able to mask off machined surfaces.
    Operate sandblasting booth

Qualifications

    Must have a safety first mind set, adhering to the company policies on working safe.
    Experience using a forklift and overhead cranes would be an asset.
    Ability to react quickly to changing workload and customer requests.
    Demonstrate good time management skills and good problem solving.
    Ability to handle change; can work with minimal or no supervision.
    Able to work in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines.
    Previous experience is preferred, however, not necessary.

Remuneration

Hours of work are from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.  Prairie Machine offers a competitive remuneration package including a drug, dental and extended health plan at no cost, and a matching pension plan after one year of service.
